Mangaluru: Fire in car showroom - fire brigade averts further loss

Mangaluru, Sep 4: Fire broke out at Srinidhi Automobiles car showroom at Mary Hill here on Sunday September 2. With the timely operation of the fire brigade here, fire was contained in time before it could result in large scale destruction.

It is learnt that fire was sighted in the electric board of the showroom. The metre board was completely charred and the entire complex was full of smoke. The showroom has a number of high end cars, but none of them were damaged. Metre board, wiring and electric boards were charred in this incident.

Fire brigade personnel stated that as per the showroom owners version, loss due to fire has been estimated to be around ten to fifteen lac rupees.

    these fools earn so much money by selling expensive cars but cant spend enough money on the safety of the showroom... the car company should withdraw the dealership...
