Mangaluru: Milagres College celebrates Independence Day

Mangaluru, Aug 16: The 72nd Independence Day was celebrated at Milagres College Campus on August 15.

The chief guest of the day Cicila Pereira, vice president of parish pastoral council hoisted the tricolor flag. She addressed the gathering by expressing the significance of the day.

Fr Micheal Sathumayor, campus director, John Pais, principal of PU section, and Elveera Lasrado, principal of Milagres CBSE School presided over the function.



Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions conducted on account of Independence Day. Ashil Shetty of class 9 compered the programme.
