Mangaluru: ICYM Pakshikere aims to create greener earth through Vanamahotsava

Mangaluru, Jul 28: ICYM Pakshikere unit in collaboration with YCS Pakshikere unit recently organised ‘Vanamohatsava’ programme in the premises of St Jude Church and Shrine

Fr Melwyn Noronha inaugurated the programme by planting a sapling in the church premises.

Saplings were distributed to all the parishioners with the aim of creating a greener earth in the years to come.

As the English proverb quotes 'Charity begins at home' parishioners enthusiastically pledged to nurture those plants that they took with utmost love and care to protect nature as responsible guardians of nature’s birth.
