Mangaluru: ICYM Rosario organises AIM 2018

Mangaluru, Jul 25: ICYM Rosario Unit (RYM) recently organised AIM 2018, a youth gathering programme for all youth of Rosario at Rosario Cathedral Hall.

The programme commenced with a prayer song led by the youth. Ashton Fernandes, unit president welcomed the gathering.

Fr John Baptist Crasta, rector, Rosario Cathedral presided over and inaugurated the programme along with the chief guest, Fr Ronald Prakash Dsouza, director, ICYM Mangaluru diocese, Fr Flavian Lobo, assistant parish priest, Rosario Cathedral, spokesperson of the day, Dr Ajith, Dr Renita and Nelson Monis were the guests on the
dais.



Fr John Baptist Crasta addressed the youth and the gathering on the need for youth to be active members of the church, as this year celebrates the jubilee year. To mark this auspicious occasion youth need to help in building the community. Dr Ajith took over the session on the topic - life, stress habits and addictions. Dr Renita took over the session on the topic - time management and Nelson Monis took over the session on the topic - stress management, personality development and also conducted innovative games for the youth.

More than 30 youth participated in the event.

Jaison Leroy Periera, Shirthday president, ICYM Mangaluru diocese was the guest for the concluding ceremony. Heshwal Dsouza, secretary, Rosario unit delivered the vote of thanks.

It was a fun filled day with entertainment, games and lots of activity as well as a day to remember.
