Bengaluru: Man kills friend in inebriated condition

Bengaluru, Jul 20: Police personnel of Vivek Nagar station in the city have arrested a person who has been accused of murdering his friend in a state of drunken stupor.

The arrested youth has been identified as Mahendra. He has been accused of murdering his friend, Akash.

Akash and Mahendra had got heavily drunk in a bar on July 13 and left the place together. They fought over some money matters near the graveyard at Ejipura. It is said that Akash demanded his money back. Angered by this demand, Mahendra is said to have killed Akash with a machete.

These scenes were captured in the CCTV cameras of the said bar. Based on these records, the police arrested Mahendra.
