Daijiworld Media Network - Kasargod (SP)

Kasargod, Jul 5: Divisional engineer of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd here, Sudhakar, was perhaps killed over property dispute, police said. Sudhakar was stabbed to death on the evening of Tuesday July 3.

The property dispute Sudhakar had with his neighbour, Radhakrishna (50), the police guess, led to this murder. The police have reasons to believe in this theory as Radhakrishna had jumped in front of a moving train at Kumble and killed himself within hours since Sudhakar was killed.

The police have put together facts to prove that the two were involved with property dispute since many year. The two had entered into verbal friction many a time on this issue. A case had been filed in the court, and the court had given its verdict in favour of Sudhakar. The police stated that during their preliminary investigation, they got enough evidences to guess that angered by this development, Radhakrishna would have avenged the enmity by killing his adversary.

Sudhakar's body was found lying about 200 metres away from his residence on Tuesday evening with his throat slit with a sharp object. Within hours since the body was recovered, Radhakrishna had ended his life at Kumble.

The police are collecting more materials to reach to a logical conclusion based on facts.
