Mangaluru, Apr 1: The country’s top medical and dental entrance examination training institute Speed Medical Institute’s new coaching centre, ‘Speed Institute Mangalore’, was inaugurated at Indira Hospital Annexe, Falnir, on Sunday, April 1.

The director of the institute, Dr Prabhakar, along with other dignitaries inaugurated the coaching centre.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Prabhakar said, "It is my privilege and honour to be part of Speed Institute. This is the first sector to have satellite coaching which is associated with Speed Institute at Chennai. Several coaching institutes have come up in Mangaluru during the last two decades. This city is known as an education hub and has seven medical colleges.

"Medical education is important for a healthy mind and society and an important aspect of our lives. Young minds who are willing to join the medical profession and their parents have a high responsibility on their shoulders to receive good coaching and become a good doctor in future. Speed Institute was started by a cardiac surgeon who understood doctors’ aspirations. Speed has good national level teaching faculty which is huge advantage for students," he said.

Dr Rajendran said, "A doctor’s profession is next to God as it is all about helping and serving people. It is good that NEET was made mandatory for aspirants. It is a privilege for me to be associated with Speed which has good amount of study material for preparation of entrance exam."

Speed Institute Mangalore has crash course of 35 days. Classes are conducted by expert faculty from all over India. Updated excellent printed course materials will be provided. Daily test, subject-wise test and national grand test will be conducted. VSAT with outstanding audio video clarity in large screen will be used. Daily satellite and local NEET expert will hold interactive classes. At present, 15 students have enrolled in the institute.
