Mangaluru, Mar 27: St Aloysius Gonzaga School (SAGS) is a CBSE unit of St Aloysius Institutions that is shaping the future of many young minds in and around the city. The school is a dream project of the Jesuits, in continuation of their endeavour to deliver the best to the students through options most preferred and based on the need of the hour.
SAGS have an excellent reputation and provide a vibrant and harmonious community for the students and staff alike. The school represents the transformation stage of education globally. The school motto, ‘Lucet Et Ardet’ (Shine to Enkindle) has guided in making enormous strides in educating the students and transforming them into men and women for and with others. The aim at SAGS is to provide students with engaging, enriching, challenging curriculum along with emphasis on extracurricular activities from K-12 to ensure that the students have an edge over others to be leaders in their respective field of interest.

St Aloysius Gonzaga School fosters a positive spirit and believe in partnership between students, parents, teachers and support staff working to create an ambiance that endorses excellence. They believe children acquire skills and knowledge around a stimulative surrounding. With its wonderful infrastructure and all modern amenities, the school is now poised for an enviable growth in the field of education making itself the preferred choice for qualitative education.

The classrooms are equipped with modern hi- tech facilities including laptops and projector screens. Children have access to ICT equipment including the use of a secure internet system. There are two large playgrounds for sports. The main interior feature is the multi-purpose hall that is used for celebrations, general assemblies, competitions and club activities.

An array of events and activities are a part of the SAGS calendar which includes cultural programmes and competitions, theme based assembly, Konkani, Kannada and Hindi week, sports meet, annual day, field trips and educational tours, guest speakers, Alumni, workshops, orientation, refresher courses and the list goes on.

St Aloysius Gonzaga School’s mission is to continue to do what they have always done along with inculcating compassionate and humanitarian spirit among students.
