Mangaluru, Mar 17: The graduation ceremony of SCS College of Nursing Sciences was held on Saturday, March 17 at St Sebastian Platinum Jubilee Hall, Bendore.
The programme began with an invocation song followed by lighting the lamp by dignitaries on the dais. The chief guest of the function Dr Sr Alphonsa Ancheril, vice-principal, Athena Institute of Health Sciences, enlightened the students that learning is a continuous process and it will help them as they enter this challenging world. She further reminded to keep them equipped with current knowledge of nursing field and also with the advancing technology.
Dr Abhinay Sorake was the presiding officer of the programme. Swetha Kiran, associate professor, welcomed the gathering. Prof Lolita S M D’Souza, principal, administered the oath to the graduates and presented the annual report of the college. Anil Kumar C M, vice-principal, was present on the occasion. Jonita Noronha, lecturer, compered the programme. Leena M Castelino, associate professor delivered the vote of thanks.
Cultural events were performed by the students of the college.
