This was the second time he was invited to join Donald Trump for breakfast, the first time being in February 2017, only a few days after Trump assumed office as the President of the USA.

Reacting to the special invite he and his wife received to be a part of this global gathering, Ronald Colaco said, "It is indeed a great honour and privilege to represent my great country, India and the place of my residence, UAE, to have breakfast with the President of USA, the most powerful country in the world and a number of powerful leaders of the world specially chosen for this National Prayer Breakfast gathering. I am certainly excited, thrilled and consider it as my good fortune to have participated in this global gathering which was attended by top Congressmen, senators, diplomats and other top leaders not only from across the US but also from over 130 countries. This partricipation has helped me to meet and interact with a nuber of world leaders, diplomats and Congressmen and this exposure would certainly benefit me a great deal in strengthening contacts and establishing cordial relationship with leaders at a global level.

Colaco expressed his gratitude to Agnel Rajendran for facilitating him and his wife to participate in the memorable event.

Build a peaceful world: US President Donald Trump

At the august gathering on February 8, President Donald Trump narrated an example of a 9-year-old girl Sophia requiring a high risk surgery and stated that the doctors had given up hope of her walking again but this little girl never lost her hope in God and she contacted millions of people across the globe through social media to pray for her. The miracle of that prayer was that, Sophia was able to walk around and thus she became a hero to all of us and to the world. He stated that heroes like Sophia may come from all across the country and with different backgrounds, but they all share one thing in common - through their love, their courage, their sacrifice and prayers they can lift the Grace of our God. The President called upon his fellow citizens and those gathered during the breakfast event to resolve to find the best within ourselves. He also called upon to pray for the extra measure of strength and extra measure of devotion so that we can seek to build a more just and peaceful world so that every child can grow up without violence, worship without fear and can reach their God-given potential.

The President further stated, "As long as we are true to America's stand and the examples that those great founders have set, we can all be heroes to others and they can all be heroes to us as long as we open our eyes to God's grace and open our heart to God's love. America will then forever be the land of the free and home of the bread and the light unto all nations."
