Kundapur, Jan 25: Congress party which inherited power from the British, has continued to plunder the country's resources. At present, Congress is ruling only in four states. As desired by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and BJP national president, Amit Shah, we should free Karnataka of the Congress clutches. Congress-free India will grow stronger," said former MLC and cine actor, director and producer, Jaggesh.
He was speaking after inaugurating BJP labour class convention organized by Siddapur unit of BJP Shakti Kendra which is located within Byndoor assembly constituency on Wednesday January 24.
The programme was held at Sri Mahamayi hall, Siddapur.
"People of 18 states have made it amply clear that they are with Prime Miniser, Narendra Modi. As Modi has singlehandedly been pursuing the goal of achieving development of the country without giving any weightage to religions and castes, the entire world is siding with him. Karnataka chief minister, Siddaramaiah, is trying to project central government schemes as his own. The only achievement of Siddaramaiah is wedging a divide between castes, religions and belief systems in the state with ulterior political motive. The current state government is just like a skeleton. Providing food, water or oxygen to it will not yield any result. For self respect to gain ground again in the state and for the formation of a strong government, BJP needs to be supported and made victorious," he stated.
Bharati Shetty, state BJP women's wing president, MLC, Kota Srinivas Poojary, Udupi district BJP president, Mattaru Ratnakar Hegde, district general secretary, Navinchandra Shetty Kutyaru secretary, Sandhya Ramesh, state BJP executive member, B M Sukumar Shetty, Byndoor BJP in-charge convener, Praveen Gurme, Byndoor BJP Mandal president, Sadanand Uppinakudru, vice president, Deepak Kumar Shetty, Yuva Morcha president, Sharatchandra Shetty, Siddapur gram panchayat president, Sarojini Shetty, vice president, D Bharat Kamath, president of Siddapur Agricultural Service Cooperative society, Jayaram Bhandary as well as district BJP and Byndoor Mandal leaders were present.
