Chamarajanagar, Jan 10: "Members of RSS and Bajrang Dal are the terrorists," said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday, January 10.

Siddaramaiah was here to address a Sadhaneya Samavesha rally.

Reacting to the questions reporters on why the outfit Popular Front of India (PFI), allegedly involved in the murder of BJP activist Deepak Rao, had not yet been banned, the CM said that the government was waiting for more facts of the case.

"PFI, SDPI, RSS, Bajrang Dal, VHP or any other organisation that creates unrest will not be tolerated," he added.

CM’s statement has already attracted widespread criticism and debate in the social media.

There is sky and earth difference between RSS & Bajrang Dal..I think many people don't have any idea about RSS and its social work..According to them, RSS means CHADDI people..RSS means Communal group !! 60 years India was ruled by Congress..It systematically kept RSS organization in dark..Congress and congress sponsored media made a point to blame RSS for everything..So, common man who does not know anything about RSS ,thinks that RSS means terror group..For you info.. Where ever and whenever natural calamity ,disaster take place , RSS is the first organization which appear there in the first place..their volunteers try to help people, build shelter homes, serve food etc..It has been happening since its birth..Orissa cyclone, Andhra Cyclone, Gujrath Earth quake, Assam Floods,Tsunami, Nepal earth quake made people to understand that RSS is the organization which serve people without any interest..I am not a RSS member..but after seeing RSS selfless service towards nation, i started loving it..That is why its root deep did spread deep inside India..No politicians can destroy it.. That is why Nehru, Indiraji, Manmohan could not ban it...Can you expect Siddu can ban it..?

As you said there is sky earth difference between RSS and Bajrang Dal. But have you seen any single incident where RSS has criticized any one of the Bajrang Dal atrocities? while they are readily available to poke their nose into personal matters of other religions.

What i understand is that RSS has so many wings to which it unofficially outsources its jobs which RSS cannot do themselves to keep itself clean in the picture.

There are even allegations against RSS that it diverted through its sister concern organisations the overseas funds donated to flood relief operations in Gujarat and other places. The enquiry demanded on this issue was rejected by then BJP government in the Centre. There are so many other charges against RSS in other matters as well.

Regarding the social works done by RSS; its universal fact that any organisation has to show some good work to remain in business.

Has RSS criticized the BJP Yuva Morcha leader who harassed an innocent Hindu girl so much so that she committed suicide? ; Then what is the meaning of humanitarian work when it does not wish to guide its disciples when they are utterly against humanity?

The current rulers got an easy prey to create a big sign board due to the 80 year judge K. T. Thomas's great compliment of the RSS in keeping India safe. He lost his memory somewhere. The man who killed the father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on January 30, 1945 was an hardcore RSS soldier. Did the RSS leaders ever apologize to the nation as yet? Was that act a patriotic act or terrorism?

There were hundreds of High Court and Supreme Court Judges in India. If you and your comrades are under a false notion that Justice K. T. Thomas is the spokesperson of the minority Christians, indeed you are reading the wrong chapter. The current Minister of Tourism Mr. Kannamthanam was another pick of the party to bluff the minority Christians of India.

During the Christmas season, to get extra protection from the attacks of the RSS-VHP-BD- etc , the Catholic and other Bishops had to seek the special help of the Home Minister. Do you remember any such incident of seeking special protection for the Christians in India at the Christmas season? Now, can you see any difference in between the current Government of New Delhi and the former democratic Governments? Please be fair in your evaluation.

Having said that, Please note , Cong has already been following the 'divide and rule ' policy. They are no saints either. Do not underestimate CM Siddu. He is a proven, seasoned, experienced, wise and astute politician. Do you think he is not aware of traps being set by the BJP and their media friends even more so because this is not the first time the BJP are using such a polarizing strategy ? He would have thought a thousand times before uttering such a statement. The Karnataka Congress are already aware that until the elections the BJP and their Sanghi associates will make all sorts of efforts to disturb communal harmony in words and actions. I believe that actually CM Siddu is laying a trap for the BJP and RSS because he would have thought this through and is not underestimating the opponent. CM Siddu is far more experienced in politics than Rahul Gandhi who is also learning fast now.
