Karwar, Oct 6: "Anyone who has information about ISIS organization and the fact that it is active in places like Mangaluru, Bantwal and B C Road, should reveal the same to the police. It is not right for the persons concerned to go before the media with this information," opined state food and civil supplies minister, U T Khader.
"Delivering speeches is not enough. They should show patriotism by sharing whatever information they have with the state police and investigating agencies of the central government," he added.
He stressed that information about people engaged in anti-national activities need to be given to police and intelligence departments. "We can honour the person giving this information if it is found to be true. People of Dakshina Kannada have harmonious coexistence," Khader said.
"Before believing what someone says, it would be worthwhile to look at their background. It would be wrong to trust everything someone says and develop suspicion and perceived notions on that basis. It is important to look into who is speaking, where, and under which circumstances. If the person is found to be providing false information, he himself should be subjected to probe at the outset," he opined.
