Bengaluru, Sep 24: BJP leader and union minister for statistics and programme implementation, D V Sadananda Gowda (DVS), came down heavily on Karnataka chief minister, Siddaramaiah, who he said appears to have lost his mental balance. Branding Siddaramaiah as the worst chief minister ever, he said that because of lack of control over what he speaks, people are not taking him seriously now, and warned that the chief minister will soon sink into the oblivion.
He was answering the reporters who sought his reaction to Siddaramaih’s statement that Yeddyurappa does not have the courage to demand farm loan waiver from the Centre.
In a separate statement, BJP leader and former minister, S Suresh Kumar, felt that the utterances of the chief minister are full of entertainment value and nothing else. The MLA felt that Siddaramaiah is overwhelmed by criticisms being heaped on him and his government by Congressmen themselves. "Recently, a senior Congress leader, K N Rajanna, had branded Congress leaders as thieves, and minister, K R Ramesh Kumar, had spoken in his support," he recalled.
Having failed to keep his own party leaders happy, Siddaramaiah has been trying get out of the mess by pointing accusing fingers at opposition leaders including Yeddyurappa without having any solid ground to do so, he felt.
