Dubai: SMMC to present Pradeep Barboza's new Konkani drama on Oct 27

Dubai, Sep 24: After the successful presentation of many events this year, St Mary’s Mangalorean Community (SMMC) Dubai is now ready to present a brand new comedy play ‘Phalyan Poleyan’.

SMMC core team presents the drama with the guidance from Fr Robert Lasrado, spiritual director of SMMC with the sincere intention of offering healthy entertainment to the families of Konkani speaking parishioners of St Mary’s Church, Dubai and also to all Konkani people of UAE.

‘Phalyan Poleyan’ has been written and directed by well known dramatist Pradeep Barboza. He has chosen the best actors from UAE to portray different characters from the play with himself playing a role.

This new comedy will be staged at the premises of St Mary’s Church, Dubai on Friday 27 October from 7.30 pm till 10. 30pm.

SMMC has requested the drama enthusiasts to come on time to get seats and to enjoy the comedy.

    Extremely pleased to know about Pradeep's new act. He has extraordinary talent. Congrats and all the best Pradeep.

    His previous drama "Sovai Budvont" at the same venue was a non-stop rib-tickler. And this is going to be same, I am sure.

    It was great news for Konkani comedy play lovers. Pradeep Barboza is well known name in Konkani play as well as in Konkani movie. He is filled with talent with his creative ideas's and fresh comedy. He known for his originality. All his previous plays were created history and was successful with rib tickling comedy. All the best to Pradeep Barboza and his Sangoon Mugdana team. We are blessed to have such a talented person in our community.

    All the best Pradeep. Your dramas are always the best. Dubai people don't miss this comedy drama. I have acted in Pradeep's couple of comedy dramas. His dramas are always with good concept, clean comedy and good message.
