The event was conducted with utmost care, the idea of the event was to make sure all the people living in Mangalore celebrated and enjoyed the festival of colours without any discrimination of colour, caste, creed, religion or what outfit one is wearing. It was absolutely stunning to watch all age group of people came together and celebrated Holi without any Problems. Maybe there are many explanations to why this festival is celebrated and yes its true till late 80s Mangaloreans dint know much about Holi however what matters now is people coming together and exchanging well wishes and celebrating festival together in Peace. Hope to be a part of many such event and make sure Mangalore is a better place to live.

Exchanging greeting cards and flowers is very unhealthy and should be banned...touching each other and rubbing colors to each other ...is highly acceptable to sangis. Hahaha...double standards exposed.

How moral police/culture protectors became silent spectators? (youngsters were in full swing) Let them enjoy amd rejoice Holi. I wish small kids should not have been allowed to be taken in such event because of sensitivity of their eyes.

Fundamentalists from all communities don't like to see boys and girls are mingling. But India is a democratic country, let the people enjoy with their fundamental rights. Whether they can celebrate in this way or not, that is purely their and their parent's lookout. Sanghis or anybody else have no business there.
