Mangaluru, Nov 15: St Agnes Preparatory School (CBSE) celebrated Children’s Day on November 14 with an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, joy, and memorable experiences for the young learners, marking the birth anniversary of India’s first prime minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The day was organized with engaging activities that honoured the spirit of childhood and celebrated the talents of our students.

The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by KG coordinator and the esteemed chief guest, Sr Letitia AC, alongside several students. This act symbolized the illumination of knowledge and the promising future that awaits our young learners. A poignant moment ensued as the children, accompanied by Sr Letitia and the teachers, presented flowers in tribute to "Chacha" Nehru, expressing their respect and admiration. Following this, a heartfelt prayer song created a serene and uplifting atmosphere for the day's events.

The festivities commenced with a warm welcome song performed by the teachers, setting an inviting tone for the event. Following this, the preschool educators entertained the audience with an engaging skit that conveyed a meaningful message, resonating with both students and staff alike. To further enhance the atmosphere, a lively dance performance by the teachers captivated all the children, infusing the hall with joy and laughter.
