Mangaluru, Mar 11: Here's a golden opportunity for young men and women looking to make it big in the world of fashion, and what's more, foraying into cinema. In5nity Mr and Miss Mangalore Beauty Pageant in association with Malgudi Talkies, co-sponsored by Hangyo opens its wide door to participants in the twin districts.
Auditions for girls and guys in Mangaluru will be held at Forum Fiza Mall, on March 18. Auditions in Manipal will be held at Hakuna Matata Club, on March 19.
Twelve from each category will be selected from the auditions for the finals.
Winners will get a direct entry to Miss South India, Princess India, alongside securing many modelling contracts and a chance to act in an upcoming movie produced by Ashok Shetty under the banner of Malgudi Talkies.
Apart from Mr and Miss Mangalore, and the two runners up, other titles namely Best Smile, Best groomed hair, Best catwalk, Mr and Miss Photogenic will be given away.
Alester D'Souza (Mr India Manhunt International 2nd runner up, 2016) and Vikas Puthran (winner of Mr Mangalore 2014) will judge the audtions.
Grooming for finalists
The 12 who make it to the finale will go through:
1) Photoshoot and photography session at Mangalore Hills
2) Grooming session - where contestants will be groomed on personality developement, overcoming stage fear and refining oratory skills by Dr Nithin Sashidhar and Ganesh Aithal.
3) Fitness session at Zuese Fitness Club
4) Ramp walk - Finalists will be taught to walk the ramp and prepare for the final walk and formation by fashion choreographer Sameer Khan.
Finale
The grand finale will be held at Mangalore Hills at the end of the month and will have three rounds - traditional, western and formal. The finale will be judged by delegates from the fashion industry.
Entry to the finale is exclusive for invitees. Stars from Coastalwood and Sandalwood will be present at the finale.

Interested participants are also invited for the pre-event online contest, wherein they can send in their name, age and a picture via email to the team in-charge. Pictures of contestants will be uploaded online and audience will support the choicest contestant with virtual 'likes'. The contestents with the highest likes will be crowned the 'Most Popular Face of Mangalore'.
