SAKAKA, Jan 5: Three days after an infant boy disappeared from a hospital nursery in Sakaka, the father of the infant, Marzook Al-Sarhani, announced a financial reward of SR150,000 to any information that would lead to finding the baby and arresting the suspected kidnapper. The father called for people to submit any information or lead that could help police in searching for the missing baby.
Al-Sarhani said the baby was taken away even before its mother could see her newborn. He described the kidnapping as an immoral act that is “very strange” to Saudi-Muslim society. Al-Sarhani said that he has full faith in the Saudi police and believes that they would find his baby and arrest the criminal who committed this “atrocious crime.” Al-Jouf Gov. Prince Fahd ibn Badr is personally following up the case.
