Mangaluru, Sep 25: "I was initially nervous about acting opposite Ravichandran. But his down-to-earth behaviour and affectionate way in which he talked to me instilled confidence in me. So acting with him gave me an unparralleled experience," said Neha Shetty, who hails from coastal Karnataka, and who is  the heroine of 'Mungarumale 2' Kannada movie.

Speaking at a press conferee held at Cinepolis here on Saturday September 24, Neha, 19,  recalled that 'Mungarumale', the epoch-making movie, memory of which still lingers around, was released when she was in school. "I liked that movie and the cute rabbit in it. I got a chance to act in its sequential film luckily. This success has brought more offers to me, and I am elated at this" she explained.

She said she got a chance to act in movie when in second PU, adding that they had put her heart into her acting for this film with the desire to create the same unique place the heroine of the earlier film with similar name had carved out for herself. "I have never been trained in acting. I learnt acting by watching others. I am not too rigid about the roles I will portray. Modelling is my hobby, and being new to the industry, I would like to  portray all kinds of roles," she explained.

Neha is positive about considering acting in Tulu movies if offers come her way.

Neha was honoured on this occasion. Producer of 'Chandikori' Tulu movie, Sharmila D Kapikad, and Cinepolis city unit head, Keerthan Shetty, were present. RJ Suhan presented the programme.
