Madikeri, Sep 22: Under the leadership of Kannada and the cultural department, Bengaluru and various academies 'Sangama Sambrama 2016' will be held in the city from September 24 to September 28. The cultural programme will be oraganised at Field Marshall Cariappa College Ground, here.
'Kala Shibira' will be inaugurated on September 24 at 9 am at C K Broad Holidays, in the city. A cultural procession will proceed from Gandhi Maidan to Field Marshall Cariappa College Ground on September 27 at 10 am. This will be followed by the cultural programme- Sangama Sambrama. The representatives of the people and many others will witness the occasion.
In the afternoon the cultural programme by various academies will be held in the same venue.
On September 28 a communicative programme Bhasha Bhandavya– linguistic bonding will be presented by Karnataka Sahithya Academy followed by the releasing of CD and books of the various academies.
The programme will continue with the cultural programme and then the closing ceremony. Many stalls will invite book lovers. B S Thammaiah president of Karnataka Kodava Sahithya Academy, here briefly explained the programmes to be held at 'Sangama Sambrama 2016'.
