Udupi, Aug 30: A group of thieves had entered Manai math Mukhyaprana temple here after breaking open the door and decamped with valuables worth Rs 61,000 on Monday morning August 29.
The theft had occurred between 7 pm on Sunday night and 3 am on Monday morning. The thieves had broken the back door latch of Mukhyaprana temple, Manai math, Hiriadka Bommarabettu grama with the help of an unknown tool. They had later broken open the latch of the locks fixed to two doors at Garbha Gudi.
