Kasargod: Woman with burn injuries dies in hospital

Kasargod, Aug 13: A woman, who had suffered from severe burn injuries and was admitted into a hospital at Mangaluru, breathed her last on Friday August 12.

The deceased has been identified as Ayesha (28), wife of Zakir, resident of Chowki Majal here. On August 5, fire from a kerosene stove had accidentally spread to her clothes, injuring her critically. Ayesha was immediately rushed to a hospital at Mangaluru but she could not be saved.

A case of unnatural death about this incident stands registered in the town police station here. Investigation has been undertaken.
