KACES to celebrate late Dr C D Jathanna's birth anniversary

Mangaluru, Jul 4: "To commemorate the birthday of late Dr C D Jathanna, founder of Karnataka Christian Education Society, the institute will be celebrating KACES Day at the KTC Bishop Jathanna auditorium, KACES campus on Tuesday July 5 around 10 am," announced Sandeep Theophil PRO of KACES. He addressed the press meet here on Monday July 4.


He explained that Padmashree Dr Manmohan Attavar, chairman, Indo-American Seeds (India) Pvt Ltd will be the guest of honour and he will release the book 'History of Christians in Karnataka- 19th and 20th centuries: Perspectives and Resources'. Dr Livingston C Soans eminent botanist and ecologist and Dr Sushil Jathanna director of Global Multispeciality Hospital, here will be the chief guests.

The city's band, ROL 'Rhapsody Out Loud' will be felicitated for their talents and achievements. Three doctoral students Dr Madhumala, Dr Ashok Rakesh and Dr Rohinaksha will be conferred their PhD and 8
MPhil students will receive their degree certificates at the occasion.

Chethan R, principal of HTTI, Dr F Anilkumar treasurer of KACES were present at the meet.
