Belthangady, Jul 4: “Do not pay bribe for any work including approval under 94C. Paying bribe also is a crime.”, said additional deputy commissioner Kumar.
Speaking in a progress review meeting held in the Taluk auditorium here on Saturday, July 2, he said that there is no need to pay bribe even for the title deeds of poor.
“There are nine thousand applications pending for title deeds. The Tahsildar should choose a grama each in a week to dispose of applications. He should scrutinize all the applications and write for approval of title deeds. Those should not be kept pending for any reason. It is not mandatory to provide house number for 94C application.”, he said.
“The project is to regularize (Sakrama) the houses to those who have built houses on government land. How can those who have built houses without approval get house number? He asked. However, they should furnish identity proofs such as Adhar and Vote’s ID”, he said.
