Prague, Jun 6 (IANS): South Korea defeated the Czech Republic 2-1 in a friendly football match ahead of the Euro 2016 tournament in France.
South Korea's Yoon Bit-Garam netted the opening goal in the 26th minute with a free kick and Suk Hyun-Jun doubled the Asian country's lead in the 40th minute here on Sunday, reports Efe.
The Czechs only goal came from a Marek Suchy shot in the 75th minute that was deflected by South Korean defender Kwak Tae-Hwi into the net.
The Czechs play in Group D of Euro 2016 with defending champion Spain, Turkey and Croatia.
