Dubai, Sep 15: Pamboor Welfare Association UAE, celebrated the feast of birthday of Mother Mary at Winny’s Restaurant on 14th September 2007 , 8pm. The celebration commenced with a prayer followed by beautiful flower showering ceremony to mother Mary by the children , as the gathered sang “ Sokkod Sangatha Melyam ani Moreyek Hogolshiyam”.

President  Ambrose D’souza extended a warm Welcome to all gathered. Prakash D’souza gave a message on importance of monthi feast.

There were many cultural programs like Konkani skits which were conducted by Joy and party.

Games were conducted by  Prakash D’souza .The whole gathering was divided into 4 groups and different games were conducted and  points were given for each game. Depending upon the points group 1 and 3 were declared as winners. Housie -housie was also organized as part of the celebrations.

A traditional vegetarian meal prepared by staff of Winny’s Restaurant was served on banana leaves including delicious Vorn.

The entire program was carried out in a traditional manner and was witnessed by nearly 120 Pamboorians and their guests This celebration was well conducted by the association Vice secretary Miss  Vinitha.

The program was concluded with the distribution of prizes and vote of thanks by the secretary Sunitha .
