Softbank invests Rs.100 crore more in Housing.com


Bengaluru, Jan 21 (IANS): Real estate portal Housing.com received Rs.100 crore investment from Japanese Softbank, the company said on Thursday.

Housing.com CEO Jason Kothari said Softbank's support in the dual role of an investor and advisor is invaluable and symbolises commitment to the company.

Hitherto, Softbank invested up to $70 million in the real estate portal and is its largest shareholder.

Valued around Rs.1,500 crore, Housing.com raised over $120 million.

During this week, the real estate portal's co-founder Snehil Buxy was appointed the new chief product officer.
