Mangaluru, Dec 16: Bowing to public demand, Daijiworld has decided to extend the last date for submission of entries to 'Miss Daijiworld 2015' contest by another 10 days.

The contest was announced on December 1 as part of Daijiworld's 15th anniversary celebrations, and the last date was earlier fixed as December 31, 2015. While entries have been pouring in, many have requested Daijiworld to extend the last date, for reasons that it is a busy festive season and more importantly, for many who are students, exams are on or round the corner.

Hence, the last date to submit entries for 'Miss Daijiworld 2015' contest is now January 10, 2016.

'Miss Daijiworld 2015' is open for girls aged between 16 and 28. The unique photogenic contest had been successfully held twice before - in the year 2005-06 and 2010-11 during Daijiworld's 5th and 10th anniversaries.

The contest is being supported by well-known Abu Dhabi-based Hyssna International LLC.

The winner will get a cash prize of Rs 1 lac, apart from being crowned 'Hyssna Miss Daijiworld 2015' and appointed as brand ambassador for Daijiworld Group of Media for the year 2016.

The runner-up will receive Rs 50,000 cash prize and second runner-up will receive Rs 25,000. Along with cash prizes, a number of gift vouchers and goodies will be given away to the winners and finalists.

The finale will be held in Mangaluru on February 5, 2016 during Daijiworld's 15th anniversary bash.

In the initial stage, 12 participants will be selected for the qualifying round. The photographs of the shortlisted contestants will go online for public voting on daijiworld. Only 50% of the public votes for each contestant will be considered for qualifying for the final round, and the rest 50% will be decided by a professional panel of judges.

Six contestants will be selected for the final round. Only those who can make it to Mangaluru on February 5 for the final round are requested to apply.

Please read the terms carefully, and apply either through online form or send through courier, or directly hand over the photographs to Daijiworld corporate office in Bondel.
