Mangaluru: NKGSB bank opens branch in city

Mangaluru, Jul 13: A new branch of NKGSB bank was inaugurated and blessed by Kaivalya Matadeesha Shree Shivananda Saraswathi Swamiji in Aadeesh avenue here at Kalakuj
road on Saturday, July 11.



















Speaking at the occassion Kishore D Kulkarni, chairman of NKGSB bank said "This is our 10th branch in Karnataka. Last month we have opened 2 branches in Bengaluru. This bank was started by our great visionary founder Shantharam Kulkarni in 1917. The bank has grown with its operations across Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat and union territories of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Shortly we will be applying for RBI licence to expand our branches in other states. In the year 2013-14 our bank achieved a maximum business of Rs 8,900 crore. Now we have crossed Rs 9,000 crore. This bank is highly professional with all the directors highly qualified. Bank has all the modern technologies like mobile banking, internet banking and other facilities. This bank has not only been awarded as the best bank but also termed as the loyal bank."

Gokuldas Nayak, joint commissioner of MCC inaugurated the ATM and said "97th branch of NKGSB bank has been inaugurated here in Mangaluru. It is a matter of pride that bank started in co operative sector has reached such heights. This bank has made name in Maharashtra, Gujarath and other states. Mangaluru is the fastest growing city and I think this bank has opened its branch in the right time. I congratulate all the directors and wish them success."

Proprietor of Hangyo ice cream Pradeep Pai, Vice chairman of NKGSB bank Nagesh D Pinge, Chief general manager of NKGSB bank, P G Kamath, Directors of NKGSB bank Nagesh Fovkar, Laxmikanth Prabhu and others were present.
