Daijiworld Media Network – Puttur (MS)

Puttur, Nov 16: A man who went missing seven months ago remains untraced.

Divakara (37), son of Sankappa Poojary and a resident of Baarike in Kedambadi village, is the missing person. He was unmarried and worked as a daily wage labourer.

Divakara left his house on April 27, 2024, at 6 am. He called his family members in the evening, saying he was in a forest and unable to find his way back home. His phone then went off and has remained switched off since.

A team of 15 policemen from Sampya searched the forest but could not locate Divakara. Anyone who comes across him is requested to inform the police inspector of Puttur rural police station or the district control room.

Its bit making to think a bit.May be he made the call simply to let people to search n forest but he must be elsewhere? Why one switch off phone when people searching him ?and dont find?He must have gone elsewhere ?Will come back when wants. One doesnt go to forest simply so without any reason and without knowing the route.Something fishy .

This shows the lethargic behaviour of police department. In the modern days there are lots of technologies to locate the person. His last call location from the forest can be traced. Drones can be used to search in dense forest areas. But they are not willing to do this. If a buffalo of politician is missing, they put full force to search and find them. But not for common man. Strange.
