Dubai, May 3: LKAE held a get-together on 28th April 2007 at Winny’s Restaurant Party hall in honour of their Parish Priest, Fr. Alwyn D’Cunha. Fr. Alwyn is on a private visit to the Gulf during which he is expected to meet all Kanajarians residing in U.A.E, Oman & Kuwait. Fr. Alwyn D’Cunha is very well known for his services rendered in Mudipu parish, where he built a shrine of Fr. Joseph Vaz




The program started with a prayer session at 7.00 pm which was conducted by Fr. Alwyn himself and a large number of Kanajarians were present on this occasion. Frank Lobo of Kanajar conducted a brief felicitation program at 8.00 pm. LKAE president Alwyn D’Souza thanked all the members for their presence, and Secretary Elsie Lobo greeted Fr. Alwyn with a flower bouquet.

Thomas Saldanha presented a memento to Fr. Alwyn and in his speech Fr. Alwyn thanked all Kanajarians for their love and support extended during his trip.




Fr. Alwyn spoke about his mission and requested one & all for their wholehearted support. Kanajrians have ventured into a new project of building an auditorium in the Church premises which is a keen initiative of the Parish council and parishioners at large.



In the second part of program, Thomas Sequeira of Abu Dhabi conducted few games and a sumptuous Dinner was served at 9.30 pm.
