Mumbai, Mar 9: Renowned art designer Nitin Desai celebrated the second anniversary of his art studio on Wednesday March 7. The anniversary celebration was held at the studio itself, which is situated at Karjat.

Several prominent Bollywood personalities were present for the celebratory event. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan graced the occasion as the chief guest. He felicitated Nitin Desai and his technicians. Other present included bigwigs like Aishwarya Rai, Hritik Roshan, Ashutosh and Sunita Gowarikar, Manmohan, Madhur Bhandarkar, Vidhhu Vinod Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Feroz Khan, Ketan Mehta, Deepa Sahi, Deepti Naval and Uddhav Thackeray.

Known for his creative ideas and outstanding sets, Nitin Desai is also working on some international projects. He plans to come up with his own special effects studio in the near future. Speaking about his studio he says, “I harbored a dream and now I can see my dream has come true. I have a well equipped studio, where not only Bollywood filmmakers but international filmmakers are keen to shoot. I always wanted to provide a well equipped modern studio and now I feel that I am successful in creating a home away from home.”

Nitin’s recent project was Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Eklavya. On the Bollywood front, he is currently working on Ashutosh Gowarikar’s period film Jodha Akbar.
