Kolkata, March 12 (IANS): One more swine flu death was reported in West Bengal on Thursday, taking the toll to 18, a health official said.
As many as 10 fresh cases were recorded since Wednesday.
"The toll for the state is 18 and the total number of cases now is 274," Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Malay Kumar De told IANS.
He said 179 patients have been cured and discharged from various hospitals in Kolkata.
Most of the cases were reported from Barasat in North 24 Parganas district and Kolkata while some were reported from Howrah and Hooghly districts.
