Mangaluru: Items worth Rs 65,000 stolen from shop at Maroli

Mangaluru, Feb 21: Thieves entered a shop dealing in mobile phone recharges at Maroli here on the night of Wednesday February 18 and took away various items and cash worth Rs 65,000. The shop is owned by Ashok Vincent Sarasan.

The theft came to light on Thursday morning. The thieves broke the lock of the shutter door of the shop. Ashok said that a 24" LCD TV of Micromax Company worth Rs 10,000, a HP laptop worth Rs 15,000, three pen drives, a Nokia mobile with sim card worth Rs 2,000, a Nokia mobile set with dual sim cards,, Rs 35,000 in cash, apart from mobile recharge currency vouchers worth Rs 3,000.
