Scooter rider dies after wheels skid

Mangaluru, Jan 16: Gopal Devadiga (49) from Kavoor, was seriously wounded after the wheels of the scooter he was riding, skidded near the petrol bunk at Gurpur Kaikamba on Thursday January 15. He breathed his last on the way to hospital.

The accident occurred around 10 am.

It is learnt that Devadiga was on his way to Ganjimata from Gurpur Kaikamba. The vehicle lost grip and skidded near the petrol bunk causing serious injuries.

The Bajpe police registered a case after a complaint was filed by Ritesh.
