Bengaluru, Dec 19: A youth who allegedly used abusive language against the judge of a magistrate court in the city, when on the road was sent to 14 days judicial custody. The policemen had arrested the youth on the basis of a complaint filed by the judge.
It is learnt that the judge was moving in his car to the court located in Mayo Hall court complex from his residence in National Games Village in Koramangala at around 9.30 am on Wednesday, when the car got involved with a minor accident with a two-wheeler driven by Vijay (40) from Madivala here at Agaram Road in VivekNagar. It is said that Vijay followed the car, intercepted it, opened its door, and threatened the judge to get out of the vehicle. He also is said to have hurled abuses at the judge.
Vijay also challenged the judge to complain to the authorities of his choice, asserting that he does not care about complaints. The judge then filed a complaint in Viveknagar police station. By the time policemen came, Vijay had fled. The policemen found him out on the basis of the registration number which had been noted down by the judge.
