Benefit scheme does not benefit investors in Kadaba

Puttur, Dec 10: A cheating case involving Rs 95 lacs has been registered at Kadaba police station against the persons from Tatwamasi charitable trust.

The complainant is Yatheendra, a resident of Adyarbail.

The complaint names K P Ganesh, Shivaprakash,Krishnappa Gowda, Geetha Ganesh, Bharathi, Geetha,Kamalakhsha and Nagesh from Tatwamansi charitable trust as accused.

Previously several complaints were lodged at Sullia police station regarding cheating people to the tune of Rs 6 crores by the persons belonging to Tatwamasi charitable trust.

The said trust has been collecting money from the public in the name of various 'Schemes' . The schemes were branded as benefit schemes and one of the schemes was named as 'Dream festival 2013-14'.

It is said that around 8000 people have invested in these schemes out of which around 1200 people are from Kadaba town alone.

In the beginning the investors received the promised returns promptly but after some time, they started realizing that the company was into fraud. The directors have been absconding since then.

The victims have approached the district in charge minister and the district administration on the issue.
