Mangaluru, Dec 5: Former minister and JD(S) leader Amarnath Shetty strongly condemned the Central and the State Government for their failure in administration during the protest held on Friday December 5 at Gandhi Park, near Town Hall, Mangaluru.
Addressing the gathering, Amarnath said that on the call of the State president of JD(S) H D Kumarswamy they are protesting. "The Congress party is filled with full of corruption. There are four ministers in Dakshina Kannada district and they are of no use. Congress party is following in the footsteps of BJP. Narendra Modi is doing lot of publicity speeches rather than doing something good for the nation." he said.
"Modi promised that he will bring black money back to India within 100 days, but he has failed to keep the promise. BJP party is also a corrupt party. Modi Government has reduced the fuel prices but they have not reduced the bus prices. Former deputy chief minister K S Eshwarappa and former chief minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa are the main culprits in BJP." he added
"Women in our country are not safe. They cannot walk on the streets alone. A small girl is also not safe today. Our party was stronger before and now we are trying to build our party one more time and we require the support of the society. After Modi Government has come into power at Central, highest number of breach in the Ind-Pak borders has happened. Kambala is also stopped now and it is all because of the dirty politics by the Congress. Almost one year completed, but Mangalore city Corporation does not have a commissioner." he said
Mohammed Kunhi JD(S) district president also spoke on the occasion. He said, "In last four months, Modi has done nothing. There are farmers committing suicide every day and Modi is still giving speeches in abroad. He has forgotten our farmers."
