Udupi, Oct 30: Udupi district working journalist's association has appointed journalist Chetan Padubidri as the convener of Udupi press club. He will be looking after the activities of the club with two assistant conveners from November 1.

The election was held during the working committee meeting of the club, said club president Jayakara Suvarna and chief secretary Ganesh Prasad Pandelu in a press communique.
