Bangalore, Sep 28: For three software engineers, the wee hours of Saturday September 27 spelt tragedy as the Swift car they were commuting in rammed a retaining wall of a flyover, thus losing lives in a heartbreaking accident.
The incident was reported from the electronic city mobile police limits. The dead were identified as Anees Vargis (27), native of Kerala and resident of BMTC layout, Ram Vaidyanath (38) and Rajeev Charl (38) of Chennai, who were residing in company guest house in the city.
It is learnt that the three software engineers were returning from a friend's house situated in Indiragagar at 3 am in the morning in a Swift car. However, the accident occurred at 3.45 am near a deep curve on the flyover while the car smashed against the retaining wall.
It is reported that two of the boys died on the spot, while the other was taken to the hospital where he breathed his last. The bodies are kept at Victoria Hospital for the autopsy and a case has been registered by the electronic city mobile police.
