Kasargod: Gulf-bound man goes missing - Lookout notice issued

Daijiworld Media Network – Kasargod (SP)

Kasargod, Aug 13: A youth, who was returning to the Gulf region after participating in the engagement ceremony, went missing from Mangalore airport. Now, a lookout notice stands issued in an effort to trace him.

B V Babu (32), son of Kannan from Ravaneshwara in Hosdurg in the district, was employed in the Gulf. When he visited his native place on leave, his engagement had been performed with a girl from Cheerappara ain Nileshwar near here. The marriage date had also been fixed.

Babu, who went to Mangalore airport on July 25 in the company of his brother for returning to his workplace, could not be contacted thereafter. Once Babu entered the airport, efforts made by his brother to reach him on cell phone failed. Later enquiries revealed that Babu had not boarded the flight that day.

After a complaint was filed, policemen of Hosdurg police station took up investigation. They watched closed circuit television camera footages of the airport, and found that Babu, instead of proceeding to board the flight, had come out of the airport. Enquiries made to the taxi drivers at the airport revealed that he had taken a taxi to reach Kankanady railway station.

The policemen have since sent lookout notices relating to this case to police stations located in Kerala and Karnataka. Those having any information about this youth have been requested to contact Hosdurg police station on 0467-2204229.

This is utter non-sense. It is clear that he has gone with all his senses for whatever reason. He will come back!!!! You have CCTV footage that proves it. What is the point in posting this on social media and spoiling the person name? It is just a news for readers but kind of humiliation for his family.

very sad incident. Just wanted to know, how a passenger can come out of airport after entering the airport. Is it possible. Those CISF people will not allow to come out of airport unless one have visitor pass. Something fishy.

It is look like Babu himself returned from the Airport by his own wish. One thing it is true if Babu is well qualified he can get better job and the good pay in India than the Gulf.Only we can wish him the success and his safety.

actually the young people who r going to gulf for job purposes not interested to work there because of many and other purposes they have to work there.may be his heart has not allowed him to go back so he absconded from the airport. and one more thing he already engaged with girl to marry. so he felt that also.
