Bramhavar, Jul 23: A road mishap which occurred at 9.40 am on Sunday resulted in severe head injuries to a bike rider
Sohan (30) from Brahmavar who was on his motorbike was hit by a speeding service bus plying between Udupi-Kundapur (Ka 20 D 4577) on the National Highway 17 in front of the Holy Family Church Brahmavar.
The bike was crushed under the front wheel of the bus and Sohan suffered severe injuries. The young man who was bleeding profusely was rushed to Mahesh Hospital, but is said to be in a very critical condition.
The bus driver is absconding. The Brahmavar police rushed to the spot and cleared the road.
