Mangalore, Mar 23: The Tulu theatre buffs of the Gulf region have some good news after a long lean period.
The famed "Cha Parka" troupe led by "Telikeda Bolli" Devdas Kapikad is all set to stage multiple shows in Muscat, Bahrain and Kuwait during the coming couple of months.

Speaking to Daijiworld, troupe convener Karnoor Mohan Rai said that the troupe of 18 artistes will leave city for Muscat on March 27. The troupe will stage two hit Tulu plays "Telipandinakulu Teliper" and "Vaivat Vasante" at Le Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel, Ruwi on Thursday March 30 and Friday March 31.

Bahrain programme
The troupe will also tour Bahrain on April 20 and 21 and stage plays at "Hotel Palace Inn". Two hit plays "Namma Kaveri" and "Vaivat Vasante" will be staged during the visit. This troupe will wind up the tour with a visit to Kuwait where 3 Tulu plays will be staged in May 2006.
Kuwait schedule
On Thursday May 4 evening "Namma Kaveri" will be staged. On the following day (Friday May 5) morning "Vaivat Vasante" will be staged at 10.30 am. On the same evening "Telipandinakulu Teliper" will be staged at 4 pm. All the plays will be staged in the "Masrah Hawalli Hall".
