Kundapur: Dr Vijay Sankeshwar to receive Udupi Panchavarna Rajyotsava Award in Kota on Nov 16

Kundapur, Oct 16: Renowned entrepreneur and Padma Shri recipient Dr Vijay Sankeshwar will be honoured with the Udupi Panchavarna Rajyotsava Award on November 16 at Gandhi Maidan in Kota.

The award ceremony is a key highlight of the annual Kannada Rajyotsava celebration, Sadbhavana 2024, organised by the Panchavarna Youth and Women’s Mandals.

The event will feature a silver plaque valued at Rs 20,000 and cash, presented in the presence of notable dignitaries, including celebrated Kannada film actor Doddanna and Gangavati MLA Gali Janardhana Reddy.

Local achievers will also be recognised, including the Swachh Brigade Karkala team for their environmental initiatives. The evening will showcase cultural performances, including dances by the Mayuri Dance Troupe and a comic play by the Pingaar Kalavidar troupe.

This dynamic event, as announced by president Ajith Achar and founding president Shevadi Suresh Ganiga, aims to celebrate the spirit of Kannada culture and community achievement.
