Mangalore, Mar 20: Bijit Gogoy of Assam was crowned "Mr India 2006" for the second consecutive year at the Federation Cup Body Building Championship held at Nehru Maidan here on Sunday March 19 night.

While City muscleman Ganesh Shenoy bagged the "Best Poser" award and another state lad Manjunath was crowned 'Second Runner Up' at the body building championship.
"Mr India 2006" Bijit Gogoy was handed over the keys of Maruti Omni car sponsored by Nice Pharmaceuticals' president Gujral Singh. The keys were handed over by district in-charge minister Nagraj Shetty. "Best Muscleman" Ganesh Shenoy was handed over a 22" San Sui TV.
The International Body Building Federation officials from Mumbai were the judges for the championship. The championship was organized by Dakshina Kannada Body Builders Association in cooperation with Karnataka Body Builders Association.
Body building contest for Handicapped was also held.
