Mangalore: Unidentified male body found at Boloor, murder suspected

Mangalore, Apr 28: A body of an unidentified man, aged about 35 years, was found on the banks of the river near Nationals Boloor here on Sunday April 28 at around 4 pm.
A local who had been to the river side happened to find the body stuck to the rope of the wooden jetty near the streamer construction yard in Nationals Boloor, informed the police.
The police rushed to the spot and made arrangements to shift the body to mortuary in Wenlock hospital.
As the body had deep wounds on the head, it is suspected that the deceased had been murdered and thrown into the river. As the body is in the starting stages of decomposition, it is ascertained that the death might have occured in the last 24 hours.
ACP Kavitha, Bunder PI Subrahmanya, Barke PSI Shareef, Bunder PSI Ramakrisha and staff visited the spot and carried out further investions.
A case will be registered in the Barke police station as per a complaint by the locals who saw the body and informed the police.
