Mangalore, Nov 30: "Youth congress activists must be active in politics through their social service. There will be meaning for the rights in the democracy only if youth participate in the national building process", said KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza.
He addressed the gathering after inaugurating the ‘Youth Congress Samparka Campaign’ and Voters registration discussion held under the ages of Ashoknagar Youth Congress ward.
It is important to educate voters about the corruption and inter fights prevailing in BJP party through this campaign adding he said Youth congress should play a prime role in removal of BJP in the upcoming election.
Praveenchandra Alva, president of youth congress, Mangalore South Assembly presided over the programme.
Shashidar Heggde, former mayor, Radhakrishna Urwa, district secretary also spoke on the occasion.
Chethan Kumar welcomed the gathering while Clifford delivered the vote of thanks.
