Haveri, Nov 6: A Rajasthan native, Bikaram, was arrested in Haveri on Wednesday, November 6, for allegedly issuing death threats to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

Bikaram, who had recently relocated to Haveri for work, was staying in a labourer's quarters in the Gowdar Oni area. Employed in grill work, he was apprehended by Haveri police based on intelligence from Mumbai police and handed over to Mumbai authorities for further investigation.

Police confirmed Bikaram had been in Haveri for about a month and a half after working in other locations.

The arrest follows a detailed probe triggered by the death threat.
