Mangalore: SAC Orientation Programme for PUC Students on May 7

Mangalore, May 6: “The science faculty of St Aloysius College is organizing an orientation programme for PUC students on the topic, ‘Opportunities in Physical and Biological Sciences’ on Monday May 7 in Eric Mathias Hall.

This programme is aimed at combating the decline in the number of students taking basic sciences,” informed Dr Ivan Pinto, convener, at a press conference held at Press Club on Saturday May 5.
 
“The purpose of this orientation is to guide the students and their parents about the basic sciences,” he said.

Prof G G Prabhu will be the chief guest. Dr Sweebert D’Silva, principal, St Aloysius College, will preside.
